Ginger - 1/2 inch, Garlic - 7-8 cloves, Cinnamon - 2 pieces of 1 inch, Cloves- 4-5, Green chilli - 2 (These amount can be increased according to your taste).
1 big Onion
Fistful of fenugreek leaves
Rice 1 small cup
pinch of turmeric powder
Salt
Oil
Method
=============
1. Except methi leaves, rice and onion; grind all items.
2. In a pan, heat 4 tablespoons of oil and put masala paste into it
and stir continuously .
3. After 5 minutes, add chopped fenugreek leaves and fry until it becomes
slightly black colored.
4. Add chopped onions to it and fry for 2 minutes.
5. Add rice, sufficient amount of water, turmeric powder, salt and cook well
Methi rice is ready to be served.
It tastes well with cucumber raitha.
Procedure to prepare raitha
====================
1 cup of fresh curd
pinch of salt
pinch of sugar
finely chopped cucumbers.
Mix all the above items and stir well. Cucumber raitha is ready. Same recipe can be followed to prepare tomato/onion raitha.
