French beans curry



Ingredients
==================
Chopped beans - 2 cups
Salt
Red chilly - 2 ( Can use chilly powder also) or according to taste
Urad dal - 1 spoon
oil - 1 spoon
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup

Method
======================
Procedure 1:
1. Cook chopped beans and keep it aside.
2. In a pan, heat oil, add urad dal. When changes its color, add mustard seeds and Red chilly.
If you use chilly powder, do not add it now.
3. When mustard starts spluttering, add cooked beans, salt, chilly powder and grated coconut. Stir it for 2 to 3 minutes.

Thats it!!!!!

Procedure 2:

1. In a pan, heat oil, add urad dal. When changes its color, add mustard seeds and Red chilly.
If you use chilly powder, do not add it now.

2. Now add raw chopped beans, 1 cup of water, chilly powder and cover the vessel.

3. When beans are half cooked, add salt and grated coconut. Add water if required and stir it well. Allow it cook completely.

Thats it !!! it is ready...

I follow Procedure 1 because cooking vegetable in a pressure cooker is much more faster that cooking it in a vessel..
