Yess!!! I have come up with one more type of daal prepared using Radish..!! You can have this either with rice or chapathi.

Ingredients
======================
Moong daal ( split green gram/hasuru bele) - half cup
Grated Radish - 1 1/2 cup
Water - 1 cup
Pepper powder - 1/2 spoon
Jeera - 1 spoon
Oil - 2 spoon
Tamarind juice - 1 spoon
Coconut pieces - 1/2 cup
Small onion - 1
Green chilly - 1 or 2 (depending on your taste)
Method
========================
1. Soak green gram in water for an hour. So that it cooks faster.
2. Put together soaked gram, grated Radish, tamarind juice, pepper powder and salt. Pressure cook it using 1 cup of water.
3. Heat oil in a pan and put jeera. When it changes the color add chopped onion and chopped green chilly and fry for a minute. Do not fry too much. It tastes better when onions are bit crispy.
4. Put this fried onion on top of cooked gram/Radish mixture.
5. Sprinkle coconut pieces on top of it.
Daal is ready to eat .....Do not forget to mix well before you serve...
